bonnin Industrial architecture sometimes combines a concern both for the technical and the aesthetic. The Chiris factory built in 1899 is inspired by North Africa with its Mashrabiya panels which facilitated the evacuation of fumes.


Architecture for leisure then emerged: construction of the casino, the Grand Hotel in an eclectic style gleefully mixing the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Classicism.


The fronts of perfumers' shops engage this new vogue: Béranger, Hugues Aîné.
