The Sillages joint transport system currently transports 4,000 school children per day regularly in the Grasse region, comprising of 26 municipalities.
It offers the opportunity for schools to benefit from a €50 annual school subscription giving ‘unlimited travel', without restrictions. This travel card is the cheapest in the Alpes Maritimes department and only requires from the family an average outlay of €0.10 per child per trip, the annual cost for a school child on the Sillages transport system being around €800 per year.
The urban network is open to all young people in addition to the special school transport service.
The supervision of nursery and primary school children by adults is a guarantee of our professionalism and our permanent concern for children's safety. The coaches assigned to school transport are for the most part equipped with safety belts.
Because of school desectorisation, the Sillages joint transport system has expanded its urban network, which has been restructured to better meet the expectations of all users with a 30% increase in annual mileage.
