An arboretum is a collection of trees growing in their natural environment. The arboretum of Sarroudier, founded in 2006, is situated at 780m of altitude in the valley of Estéron and has several objectives: preserving biodiversity, encouraging young people to respect the environment, sensitising adults to the protection and valorisation of regional cultural heritage and the study of the current plant inventory.

A visit to the arboretum of Sarroudier is a must and gives you the opportunity to discover many species of trees, protected animal breeds and a large variety of little known fruit and vegetables from the past!
